The first notes charge up in a low volume in your speakers – Timmy Alvelöv‘s (ex-Marry me Ocean) course vocals launch themselves into a gritty manner, setting the tone for not only the debut of Yellow Pages‘ very first single, but also, the energetic mood of music to come from this young Swedish music act.

As the lead guitarist Edwin Ekstedt tells us:

“The song deals with the feelings of self-doubt that we’ve all experienced and the challenges we’ve faced in our attempts at overcoming those feelings. This song is the embodiment of the struggle of trying to ignore that little voice inside your head telling you that you’re not good enough.” – Edwin

Recalling a carefree sound similar to that of Sonny Moore‘s ‘From First to Last‘ the intrigue of Craig Owens‘ ‘Chiodos‘, the punk styled dynamic, crisp vocals, and an addictive attitude makes “Daemon” a fantastic debut piece for Yellow Pages, possessing something for any heavier punk/alt rock/emo fan to sink their teeth into!
